The Surf

A short 8 minutes drive from our luxury accommodation Villa Tropical, located in the beautiful beach town of Caleta de Campos, is the world-class left hand point break “Rio Nexpa”. 

Rio Nexpa is a very consistent left hand point break which can often offer rides of up to 300 yards long with multiple take off spots, which is the main wave that you will be surfing. It’s one of Mainland Mexico’s premier waves that can accommodate surfers of all levels. 

If you like to surf rights, just a short walking distance away on the other side of Rio Nexpa is a cobble stone reef which often can be surfed with just you and your friends.

In every surf destination, local knowledge can make the difference on the quality of wave you surf on any given day.
